Pakistan Secure Second Straight Win as Day Two of IMC Over-40s T20 World Cup Concludes Karachi ( Sports Reporter ) The day two of the IMC Over-40s T20 Cricket World Cup 2025 saw Pakistan registering their second consecutive victory and UAE’s Malik Qamar Abbas creating history with the tournament’s first century. At the National Bank Stadium Karachi, Pakistan defeated Hong Kong by 57 runs to maintain their unbeaten run. Batting first, Pakistan posted an impressive 192 for 4. Vice-captain Fawad Alam led the charge with a brisk 56 from 28 balls, supported by Tariq Mahmood’s 46 off 27. In response, Hong Kong managed 135 for 6 in their 20 overs. Mohammad Suleman claimed 3 for 35, while Zulfiqar Babar took 2 for 16. Fawad Alam was named Player of the Match. At Southend Club, the UAE overcame West Indies by five wickets, driven by a magnificent unbeaten 100 from Malik Qamar Abbas. His 57-ball knock, featuring 11 fours and five sixes, made him the first centurion of the Over-40s T20 World Cup....

حکومت سندھ نے واٹربورڈ کے سینئر افسراورڈپٹی منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر ٹیکنیکل سروسز, اسداللہ خان کو دوسری بار واٹربورڈ کامینیجنگ ڈائریکٹر مقررکردیا ہے، جمعرات کو چیف سیکریٹری سندھ ممتاز علی شاہ کی جانب سے گریڈ 20کے افسر، اسداللہ خان کی ایک بار پھر بطور ایم ڈی واٹربورڈ تعیناتی کا باقاعدہ نوٹیفیکشن جاری کیا گیا،انجینئر اسداللہ خان ادارے کے سینئر افسر ہیں وہ خاصہ عرصہ تک بطورمنیجنگ ڈائریکٹراور ڈپٹی منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر ٹیکنیکل سروسز خدمات سرانجام دیتے رہے ہیں،انہیں کراچی کے نظام فراہمی ونکاسی آب کا وسیع تجربہ ہے،ملک کے سب سے بڑے شہر کی پانی کی طلب و رسد سمیت تمام فنی و تیکنیکی مسائل اور فراہمی ونکاسی آب کے منصوبوں سے متعلق مکمل طور پر واقف ہیں،انہیں اپنے شعبہ پر مکمل عبور حاصل ہے، واضح رہے کہ ماضی میں منیجنگ ڈائریکٹرواٹربورڈ کے ساتھ ساتھ وہ متعدد بار قائم مقام منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر کے فرائض بھی بخوبی ادا کرچکے ہیں خصوصاً اس دوران وہ شہر میں دستیاب پانی کی فراہمی و نکاسی آب کے چیلنجز سے کامیابی کے ساتھ نبردآزما رہے،اس سے قبل انہیں فروری 2019 میں ادارہ کا سربراہ مقررکیا گیا تھا۔
