Pakistan Secure Second Straight Win as Day Two of IMC Over-40s T20 World Cup Concludes Karachi ( Sports Reporter ) The day two of the IMC Over-40s T20 Cricket World Cup 2025 saw Pakistan registering their second consecutive victory and UAE’s Malik Qamar Abbas creating history with the tournament’s first century. At the National Bank Stadium Karachi, Pakistan defeated Hong Kong by 57 runs to maintain their unbeaten run. Batting first, Pakistan posted an impressive 192 for 4. Vice-captain Fawad Alam led the charge with a brisk 56 from 28 balls, supported by Tariq Mahmood’s 46 off 27. In response, Hong Kong managed 135 for 6 in their 20 overs. Mohammad Suleman claimed 3 for 35, while Zulfiqar Babar took 2 for 16. Fawad Alam was named Player of the Match. At Southend Club, the UAE overcame West Indies by five wickets, driven by a magnificent unbeaten 100 from Malik Qamar Abbas. His 57-ball knock, featuring 11 fours and five sixes, made him the first centurion of the Over-40s T20 World Cup....

قومی چیمپیئن شپ کی تاریخ کا بہترین کم بیک، عماد علی نے ٹائٹل اپنے نام کرلیا

تفصیلات کے مطابق  کورونا کی وباء کے باعث چھ ماہ سے تعطل کا شکار اسکریبل کی سرگرمیاں بحال ہوگئیں۔ پاکستان اسکریبل ایسوسی ایشن کے زیر اہتمام کراچی میں تین روزہ  گلیڈی ایٹرز پاکستان اسکریبل (ماسٹرز) چیمپیئن شپ اختتام پذیر ہوگئی۔ ایونٹ میں ملک بھر سے 44 کھلاڑیوں نے حصہ لیا۔ آٹھ مرتبہ کے قومی چیمپیئن وسیم کھتری کو دو روز تک واضح برتری حاصل تھی اور ان کی فتح کے امکانات روشن تھے۔ بیس گیمز کے بعد عماد  علی وسیم کھتری سے چار گیمز پیچھے تھے اورٹائٹل کی دوڑ سے تقریبا باہر ہوچکے تھے لیکن  چودہ سالہ جونئیر ورلڈ چیمپیئن  نے حیران کن کم بیک کیا، اپنے استاد وسیم کھتری کو مسلسل چار گیمز میں شکست دے کرٹائٹل لے اڑے۔ 

سید عماد علی نے 27 میں سے 19 گیمز جیتے اوران کی جیت کا اسپریڈ اسکور 1469 رہا۔ نویں ٹائٹل کیلئے پرعزم وسیم کھتری کو دوسری پوزیشن پر اکتفا کرنا پڑا۔  وسیم کھتری نے بھی 19گیمز جیتے لیکن ان کا اسپریڈ اسکور 1210 رہا۔ حماد ہادی خان نے 18 گیمز جیت کر تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ دفاعی چیمپیئن حشام ہادی خان ٹائٹل کے دفاع میں ناکام رہے اورچوتھے نمبر پر رہے۔ چیمپیئن شپ میں حصہ لینے والے تمام سینئیر پلیئرز بشمول سابق قومی چیمپیئنز کو نوجوان پلیئرز سے مقابلے میں سخت چیلنج کا سامنا رہا۔ نوسال کے بلال اشعر تمام سینئیر پلیئرز سے آگے رہے۔ مہمان خصوصی ہارون قاسم نے کھلاڑیوں میں انعامات تقسیم کئے۔
