Pakistan Secure Second Straight Win as Day Two of IMC Over-40s T20 World Cup Concludes Karachi ( Sports Reporter ) The day two of the IMC Over-40s T20 Cricket World Cup 2025 saw Pakistan registering their second consecutive victory and UAE’s Malik Qamar Abbas creating history with the tournament’s first century. At the National Bank Stadium Karachi, Pakistan defeated Hong Kong by 57 runs to maintain their unbeaten run. Batting first, Pakistan posted an impressive 192 for 4. Vice-captain Fawad Alam led the charge with a brisk 56 from 28 balls, supported by Tariq Mahmood’s 46 off 27. In response, Hong Kong managed 135 for 6 in their 20 overs. Mohammad Suleman claimed 3 for 35, while Zulfiqar Babar took 2 for 16. Fawad Alam was named Player of the Match. At Southend Club, the UAE overcame West Indies by five wickets, driven by a magnificent unbeaten 100 from Malik Qamar Abbas. His 57-ball knock, featuring 11 fours and five sixes, made him the first centurion of the Over-40s T20 World Cup....

Karachi: (  Report - Javed Iqbal ) Pakistan’s ace golfer Shabbir Iqbal regained his title In Rs. 3.0 Million Jubilee Insurance 22nd edition of Sindh Open here on Sunday at the Arabian Sea Country Club Golf Course in a thrilling finish.       Shabbir of Islamabad Golf Club carded an aggregate of 12-under-par 201 in the 3-day 54 holes competition to claim his overall sixth title amid cheers of dozens of golfing supporters around the green.     

   Lean Shabbir Iqbal by grabbing the title reaffirmed his class as country best golfer on Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) circuit.         Chief Sales Officer Farhan Siddiqui , who was chief guest, presented the glittering trophy and cash purse of Rs.323,575 to Shabbir Iqbal. Chief Executive ASCC Arif Ali Khan Abbasi, President Sindh Golf Association (SGA) Asad I.A.Khan was also present on the occasion. Secretary SGA Col. (R) Zahid Iqbal announced the results.   

   Holder Ahmed Baig of PAF finished runner-up with an aggregate of 206 with rounds of 69, 68, and 69. Ahmed Baig got runner-up trophy & cash purse 0f Rs.212, 850 & while Wisal Khan of Peshawar Golf Club finished third with 207 & got Rs.135,450.     Waqas Burki of KGC won the amateur title with total of 236 Gross.  His club-mate Nadir Khan finished runner-up with 240.Among the senior Amateurs, Nadeem Iftikhar of ASCC finished on the top with 75 Gross. Qazi Aamir Hussain of DHA secured runner-up spot with 78.  In net category Brig (R) M.Basharat GMGC emerged winner with score of 68. Brig (R) Naeem Azhar Lone of KGCwas runner-up with score 71 net.
